Multi mill is a self-contained portable unit useful for high speed Granulating, Pulverizing, Mixing, Shredding and Chopping of a Multi Mill wide range of wet and dry materials without special attachments. Multi Mill operates on the principle of variable force swing, beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction. Multi mill is designed to utilize the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to control the particle reduction, material fed in to the processing chamber moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Finally the processed material gets collected into the container kept below the processing chamber. As compared to the four common principal of size reduction i.e. grinding, compression impact and shearing, which often do not produce controlled size reduction, this machine utilizes the principle of variable force swing hammer blades having both knife and impact edges rotating with a carefully selected screen to control size reduction. The unit consists of Horizontal mounted suitable HP motor which drives the motor shaft through Control switch. The unit is mounted on suitable stand with P.U. coated wheels is provided with On/Off Push button Station and one number stainless steel screen size 0.5mm (or party specify any one).

This equipment is a self-contained and portable unit for the process of size reduction. It uses the principle of IMPACT IN AIR. The product is dropped axially from the feed hopper in a communition chamber where it comes in contact with Blades (either the knife edge or the impact edge) rotating at high speed.

Operating speeds are variable and can be varied in steps of 750 / 1500 / 2100 / 3000 by a simple and sturdy design of placing the ‘V’ Belt in the desired groove of a multi – groove pulley.

Operating parts can be dismantled and assembled quickly, thereby saving down time during cleaning.

A safety limit switch can be incorporated in the top cover so as to switch off the equipment as soon as the cover is opened. (Optional)

The material to be processed enters into the feed inlet of grinding and granulating machine, then drops into the conical sieve chamber. The rotary knife plays a whirling action to the material, and throws the granules to the sieve mesh surface by centrifugal force, meanwhile, the granulates are ground into particles by the shearing action produced by the rotary knife and the sieve mesh, and discharged through the sieve apertures. The size of ground particles can be adjusted by the sieve mesh number, the gap between rotary knife and sieve mesh, and the rotary speed.


CONSTRUCTION AND FUNCTION

The Multi mill is useful for various purposes like granulation, shredding, pulverization etc. The unit consists of vertically mounted suitable HP motor which drives the motor shaft through bearing housing. The rotor has 12 Nos. swinging type knife blades and 2 Nos. scrapper blades. The screen of suitable mesh is mounted outside the rotor and material is fed from S.S. Hopper. The unit is mounted on suitable stand with P.U. coated wheels is provided with On/Off Push button Station and one number stainless steel screen size 0.5mm (or party specify any one).

Flow path of material in vertical rotor machine is streamlined. During comminuting material entering the chamber travels to the periphery and passes through the screen tangentially and radially, avoiding chocking and temperature rise.
